I get "Open File Failed" message on my .sqlite file in my microsd/families on my Android. What am I doing wrong?

Do you get this with the sample Kennedy file or only your own? What type of Android device do you have?

I have the Asus Android. I bought the program and then moved it to my removable/microsd/families and added my own genealogy files to it. All files including the Kennedy one reports open file failed.

The Kennedy file opens from the program icon but then my files aren't there. Should I put my files on the internal memory and not my sd card?

I'm a bit confused - you say "All files including the Kennedy one reports open file failed" but then say "The Kennedy file opens from the program icon", which seems to be contradictory.

Anyway I suggest that you:
- uninstall Families
- do default install to internal memory
- run the app and check that you can open the Kennedy file
- transfer your family file via USB
- check using Windows Explorer that the Families folder on SD card now contains both the Kennedy file and your family file.
- Unmount from Windows and check that the app can now open both Kennedy and your file.
