Pedigree bug - shamrockspider - 09-Aug-2010 10:17 AM

Have found that when I select pedigree view and the root person has descendant arrow showing and I select the arrow and the descendant does not have a spouse then it puts in a pseudo random person in the spouse box rather than leaving it blank as I would have expected.
It appears that if the descendant is an unmarried male then when the descendant becomes the root person then the spouse always appears to be the female who is my record 368.

If the descendant is an unmarried woman then then the random spouse is always the person who is my person who is record 367 (male)

If you then switch to family view, the the root person shown with the pseudo randomw spouse and the children of the pseudo random spouse, if there are any, are all shown as half children.

I can't reproduce this. For example, in the Kennedy file, Caroline Bouvier Kennedy displays correctly without a spouse. If you can reproduce it with the Kennedy file, please give details. Otherwise the easiest way to fix it would be to send me your file (or a subset exported from it which shows the problem). If you're willing to do this, please send to supportinfo@telgen.co.uk.
