unable to sync files

I am trying to export my Legacy file using Families sync but keep getting message does not support version which I have is 7.5. Sync version is 1.1.11. How do I fix this problem.

There should be no problem transferring a file written by Legacy 7.5. Can you check with other file(s) (e.g. Legacy sample file) to see if the problem is general or is confined to this specific file.

Hi Malcolm
I have tried the sample file and it appears to work,but when I select the actual file I want I get the message data base version not supported. When first happen the first time this is what led me to downloading Legacy 7.5 hoping it would fix the problem. When I check the SD card on the anroid device it shows the name of the files but with no content with the exception of the legacy sample file.

I assumed that the error was being displayed by Families Sync, rather than the Families app - is that correct? If so, nothing will have been copied to the SD card yet.

You say that you downloaded Legacy 7.5, implying that your file had previously been written using an older version of Legacy. Have you actually opened the file with Legacy 7.5?

Hi Malcolm
I have now had success buy saving a copy of the family tree and placing it in a folder in my docs then when I went to do the sync I went to that file and everthing worked fine. My wife uses the Legacy programme and I think there is and issue whats contained in the Legacy data folder which I will sought out later. At least my wife can take our Asus tablet for our trip to UK at end of month.Thanks Lindsay
