Unsupported file version 5.0.0.261
I'm trying to transfer file from device to PC. When it gets to the step "When converting SyLite file to Legacy format" I get "Operation Aborted"--Unsupported file Version 5.0.0.261 message. I uninstalled and reinstalled Families Sync 1.4.1.0 on PC and my iPad app was updated for iOS 5 and reads the file correctly.

What version of Legacy are you using?

I using Legacy 5.0 on XP.

Families works with Legacy 6 and above. I'm curious as to how you managed to get a V5 file onto your device as Families Sync should check the version - I'll have to investigate that. But to use Families to the full you'll need to upgrade to a later version of Legacy.

I have upgraded to Legacy 7.5 and I'm still getting errors when trying to upload from device to PC.

Have you transferred your family file from PC to device AFTER upgrading it in Legacy 7.5? If you still have the original file transferred from Legacy 5 on your device you won't be able to transfer this back.

I will try that. I was trying to move file from device to PC as a recovery method.
