Unable to open or sync- Help!

Unable to open or sync- Help!
Am trying to update family file but keep getting the msg: "The application Families (process uk.co.telgen.families) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." Options are "Force close" or "Report". Chose Report but have not had response. Have been trying to do this for several days on HTC AT&T phone, it did work once. Would like to add to Samsung Galaxy Tab 10 too if I can get it to work.

What data were you attempting to update? Can you try the same type of update with the sample file to see if it behaves the same?
