Families Syc - Unable to locate device
I have a Mac running Lion, using Families Sync and Legacy through VirtualBox/Windows7. The system works completely as expected with my iPad, and I have no issues after the 5.1 update.

However, when I try to use Families Sync to add my datafile to my iPhone, I get an error that says it is unable to locate my device. I've tried it several times, and I am absolutely sure that I am entering the IP address correctly. After it fails to find the device the first time, if I attempt to retry, it crashes the program and Windows is unable to find a solution.

Has anyone exprienced something similar? Any thoughts why it works so well with one device and bombs on the other?

Any advice greatly appreciated. Flying a couple thousand miles for a research trip on Friday and would really like to have my tree on both devices.

Thanks!

Have you tried using USB?
