Toolbar Disappears in Pedigree View - Landscape
When in pedigree view landscape orientation, if I choose 'Zoom to fill screen' the families toolbar (Home, Back, Forward, Search etc.) disappears. It's fine with the smaller font sizes when using the 'Stretch to fill screen' option.
I do not have the same problem with family view. Whether viewing large fonts (zoom to fill screen), or small fonts (stretch to fill screen), the toolbar appears just fine. Samsung Galaxy 10.1, Android 3.2. Paul Gray |

When in this mode, the screen will behave as for smaller screen devices and the toolbar is hidden in order to provide maximum space for the tree display. This is documented in the screen's help page. Is it a true general statement that when using the android 'zoom to fill' function that the screen behavior in all views, not just pedigree, will be that of a 'small screen', even on larger tablet screens? I do remember from your webinar that there are some differences in the display between large and small screens because of available space. Paul Gray |
