Unable to Access Android Market Place - Yarvik Tablet
As per the FAQ, I now wish to download and run Families on my Tablet (In preference to my Android mobile). The Tablet is a Yarvik and does not support Android Market - how do I access / download the install file to install onto my tablet? I have already paid for the full version of Families.

You should be able to purchase Families from SlideME or possibly Amazon AppStore - see links on http://www.telgen.co.uk/families Malcolm Green |

Thankyou Malcolm - I really wanted to remove it from my Samsung Galaxy phone and re-install onto the Yarvik Tablet without having to re-purchase. One option came to mind and that was to move the original install file from the Samsung Galaxy and run (install) onto the Yarvik but I can not locate the install file - Is it self-deleting or should it remain on the phone after install - If so, where will I find it? |

I believe downloaded APK files are stored on the device's internal data partition which isn't accessible without root access. Malcolm Green |

RE: Unable to Access Android Market Place - Yarvik Tablet
Thanks Malcolm. Root is not required to locate the .apk file. Simply creating a backup of the application will create a copy of the packaged .apk file, which can then be transferred onto the additional / alternative device and then re-installed from there. This ofcourse can apply to any application installed on a 'Market' friendly device which needs to be put onto an Android device not supported by Google Play / Market. App runs well on the Yarvik
