SQLiite file to external SD card

I have an Acer A500 tablet running ICS with ICS you cannot transfer apps to the external SD Card is there a way of putting the SQLite file on the external SD Card and getting Families app which is on the internal memorey card to see it. I have copied the SQLite file to the external sd card to no avail.

Please see this FAQ. You'll need to set the Base Folder to the value appropriate for your device - from searching the web this appears to be /mnt/external_SD. Please let us know if this works so that we can update the FAQ to include this device.
