Yes, Families will be enhanced so that it will work with both Legacy 7 and 8.

Just wanted to report successful installation of Families onto my Samsung Galaxy S2 Android smart phone. I already keep my Legacy 8 files on Dropbox, so I used my PC copy of Families Sync to convert my files to sql. Then I installed Families on my phone, opened Dropbox on the phone to select the Legacy 8 sql file, and used Families to open my files. I did four different Legacy files in under five minutes, and every thing appears to be working well.

I am sure as I start to use it, I will be greedy and ask for more features, but my initial observations make me very happy.

Thanks to Malcolm for creating this mobile version for Legacy.
