Families Sync and C++ 2012
#1
I have tried installing families sync on my pc but if fails because I have C++ 2012 and not C++ 2010. Anyone know how to install with C++ 2012. I am on Windows 7 32bit.

Many thanks

The following steps should fix the problem:

1. Uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86)
2. Reinstall Families Sync

I tried uninstalling C++ 2012 but when I ran the installation file it still said that a newer version was present.

I have Families sync installed for Android, will that also work for the Ipad?

Please uninstall Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) (not 2012).

Thanks, I have now loaded Families Sync but it says Android so I assume I have the wrong install file. Where can I find the install file for Apple Ipad please.

There is only one version of Families Sync which works with both iOS and Android. Please check the device types you've selected in Options>Settings.
