Documents (from "Add a document from the internet") doesn't display on device
Screen goes black followed by an error message ("File not found") as it seems to try to find the file using the Gallery app in the device.

The app doesn't have the option "Add a document from the internet"! Can you explain exactly what you did to arrive at the "File not found" error message.

Geni can add documents to its database in several ways; one is using the menu choice "Add a document from the internet". Another way is to upload a file, e.g. a .PDF. The WFT app displays the .PDF but not the result of the "Add a document from the internet"-function.

I believe the "Add a document from the internet"-function in Geni results in a .JPG snapshot of the web-page in addition to the URL in the Geni database).

Both the .PDF and .JPG entries from the Geni database shows up as entries in the listing of docs in the WFT app but only the .PDF can be displayed (the other results in the "File not found").

Ok, I understand now - I thought you were trying to add the document from the app. However, I'm not clear exactly which type of document is failing to display. Can you let me know the URL? Does the URL display OK in the Android browser?

If you have a picture recorded in Geni as a document, you need an image viewer installed to view it (the default Gallery app won't handle images from the web). I use the free app JustPictures!

You need to have a PDF viewer app installed, e.g. Adobe Reader (free in Market). If this isn't your problem, please provide more information about the error messages you see.
